Sometimes when prejudice becomes a part of my life,

I wish I had another illness.

Diabetes must be very uncomfortable, but no-one stops speaking to you.

People can say ‘I have cancer.’

But we struggle to say ‘I have mental illness.’

Patients can say  ‘I was in Hospital.’

But we are afraid to mention a Psychiatric ward.
