What does a Daffodil symbolise to me?
I think that they are a symbol of bravery.
A daffodil will push itself up through frosty ground into a cold Spring.
They are one of the first flowers after Winter.
When they appear, most days are cold. They face the last frosts of Winter.
They are bashed about by the March winds.
They endure heavy rain, and yet they still bob on their slender stalks, and survive.
I can see daffodils from my window.
Here is a photograph of one of the daffodils in the garden.
