Recovery

One of the things that I notice is a lack of fulfilment in Recovery.

‘When I am better, I will..’

‘When I regain full health, I will..’

‘When I get back on my feet, I will..’

§

We raise our expectations so high.  We think wonderful things will start to happen when we get better.

That is when we might be tempted to give up on the process, if there is little reward.

I know that Recovery is better than illness, so I must work at it even if the process is pedestrian.
