In general I would find a state of fatigue to persist in Recovery. There is still exhaustion due to the stress we experience in Recovery.
However, there is an undercurrent of new energy.
I find that it is healthier to burn off this new energy.
If I feel the energy arise like sap, then I try to find something to do.
I might paint the spare room.
Otherwise, this new energy has a tendency to express itself in anxiety or another emotion.
